For custom haters or hackamores, we need these measurements so we know the exact size of your horse’s head.


All measurements need to be taught up against the horse. Do not add for ‘breathing room’.



Do not estimate. Bad measurements will result in a bad fit.



If you have a soft sewing type measuring tape like the one shown, that kind works best.













































































Noseband

Distance between the 2 bony facial crests on inside like shown.

(This horse measures 11”) 

Circumference

The distance around the horse’s head just below the 2 bony facial

crests on each side of the nose.

(This horse measures 26”)

Cheek piece

Bony crest to jaw/throat junction.

(This horse measures 9”)
